Salou is a coastal municipality of 26.650 placed inhabitants in the province of Tarragona (Community of Catalonia, Epaña). Placed in the Costa Dorada, to 10 km from the city of Tarragona and to 9Km of Reus's city. It is considered the capital of the Costa Dorada, to be the most important tourist destination.

Salou possesses four principal beaches:

Playa de Levante

It is the Salou's principal beach. It possesses more than 1200 meters of extension and is composed of a thin very agreeable sand. He has all the such services as showers, WC and a great maritime lateral walk to the beach that comes up to the Cambrils village. Playa Larga (Salou)|Playa Larga 

Beach of 600 meters of length of fine sand . It accompanies laterally the maritime walk landscaped with Mediterranean plants and abundant flowers. In the summer it is very frequented by his proximity and the good access. It possesses showers and WC.
